Scouts

I have compiled a list of the most commonly asked questions but if there are any other questions or any clarifications you might want to know about before deciding to join our guild, please do not hesitate to contact me on Discord.

More on that on our About Us page.

What do I have to do in order to obtain and keep the Scout rank?

You'll have to speak to one of our recruiters and he/she will make sure you understand what is expected of you and point you in the right direction. After that, you'll have to get on Discord and be confirmed as a member of our guild via a simple and easy verification system which everyone will have to undertake in order to prevent spies from joining our Discord server.

In order to keep the rank, you will be tasked with a weekly activity which will take no more than 2-5 minutes to complete. Failing to do this for two weeks in a row unannounced will make you lose the rank.

Why are you imposing these demands just to be part of your guild?

I am not interested in recruiting players just for the sake of recruiting players. I firmly believe that if you're joining a guild, you should be doing so with the intent of participating in that guild's activities out in the world at whatever level you're willing to invest - whether it's 2 hours a week or 12 hours a day.

We are not hardcore and we are never going to demand you invest more time than you are comfortable investing in this game. We only ask that you respect and follow this policy which will enable us to not only feel safer to share information with you, but also to better reach you with more specific tasks that not many other guilds are going to be offering, to allow you to truly feel part of something amazing and not just hang there with a guild tag under your name that means nothing to you or to us.

With us, you are not just a social who's there from time to time to run dungeons and have a little chat every now and then.

I don't have a lot of time to play this game, can I still join your guild?

Absolutely! If you can spare 2-5 minutes every week to write a short message in a specific Discord channel, you are good to go no matter how much time you have on your hands.

What sort of information are you hoping to gather?

I will have specific needs and interests from time to time, but what I really need from you as a Scout is to just be social. I will need information on the state of affairs on the server, whether it's information about the other guilds on the server, or rumors about certain deeds done by other people - anything about anything can be very valuable to us in the future. Since I do not have the time to pay attention to all of this all the time, I'll need you to do it for me.

What plans do you have for Social Events?

Anything from food gathering for the WPvP raids to determining respawn times for certain mobs and NPCs. They won't be mandatory but I'll try to organize them in order to be as fun and useful for the guild as possible.

How can I become a War Herald?

This is a special role which will allow a Scout to recruit other members into the guild. Normally, we don't allow players outside of the Administration ranks to invite any new members because, as stated before, we're only interested in recruiting active people who are willing to earn their place in our guild. In order to do that, we have to make sure that whoever is talking to new recruits has a good command of the English language, knows and understands our rules and ways of running this guild and therefore can reasonably answer most of the questions about our guild in-game.  I will hand-pick War Heralds from the Scouts who consistently embody these traits - for even though Officers are going to be recruiting as well, I expect they will be far busier with a lot of other tasks and it will fall upon War Heralds to devote their time bringing in new recruits.

Can I join your guild in WPvP or PvE raids as a Scout?

You are more than welcome to join us!

I have no formal demands for anyone wishing to join our WPvP raids, but there will be certain demands for joining our PvE raids. Even if you're going to be a bit late for the party, we will still do our best to find ways for you to raid - you'll find that I've answered all of these questions (and more) on our PvE page, so please take a look over there if you plan on raiding in the future.
